I have recently been aware that CCE 2.5 is the fastest MPEG encoder with quality compared to TMPGenc. I'm considering purchasing and am only interested in the one that works with AVIsynth but how much faster is it compared to Tmpgenc?? They want a lot of money for it and I'm willing to pay for speed but is it twice (or more) as fast as Tsunami??

CCE Is significantly faster than TMPGEnc, a VCD in TMPGEnc will take my com 6+ hours, CCE can do it in 1.5, however for VCD the quality isn't as good, it's really only useful for MPEG2 files, and at $4000 odd it's a big investment unless your doing DVD/SVCD stuff regularly and even professionally.
