I just finished downloading a song from Walmart's site for 88 cents, which I thought was a reasonable price to pay. The problem is that it will only play on Windows Media Player because the song has some license attached to it. Is there a way I can easily convert the song to MP3 and bypass the annoying license restriction? It's not like I plan to mass produce and share it with the world; I just want to be able to use it with WinAmp and include the title with the rest of my collection.
I have heard that I can capture the audio while it's playing using a program such as GoldWave. Can anyone verify this and walk me through the process?
Thank you,
Ren

You are basically stuck with the Terms of Use that Walmart stipulates. Since the files are WMV, they contain a license that you've agreed to abide by.
That being said, anything that you can hear, you can record. Hell, even things that you can't hear, you can record. Try Totalrecorder, Goldwave, and others.
Don't put it on Kazaa, though. I will be very upset and disappointed with you if you do. -
that's when it pays to read their Terms of Service before giving them your money...
