  1. I'm at a loss. I have a Sony TRV33 which supposedly can capture true 16x9 images. I've tried all kinds of software and recently purchased Sony Screenblast Movie Factory which supposedly got rave reviews. MY home videos look real pixalized around the edges of people and objects and I cannot for the life of me figure out why the entire image looks stretched when I'm filming in 16x9 then transfer to 16x9 then play on my 16x9 tv. Any suggestions on what software to use from start to finish and get a true, non-strecthed 16x9 image that doesnt loook like crap when placed on a DVD? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Could it be that your cam merely adds letterbox borders(pseudo-widescreen) as opposed to capturing true 16x9? That would account for the stretching when playing back on your 16x9 set. Just a guess.
