Will DVD2one allow me to do a full back up when the new dual layer disc arrive? I am a little confused as I have seen different comments.

When these drives arrive, you wont need dvd2one as this is an app that reduces file size of video_ts folder down to 4.4 gigs [or whatever size you wish]
If you have a dvd capable of holding well over 4.4 then the app is not needed
all you would have to do is rip and burn! -

Nah it's OK, you're right, you did explain what dvd2onex does in a better way. I was just a bit testy this morning

PS Regarding the original question,this news item (on a rival board I'm afraid) (and it's PC software - beware the dark side!) shows a few features we can expect.
