Hey,

Someone where I work is selling 25 dvd spindles of blank dvd-r's. He said the brand is goallover. I emailed him to ask the media/mfr code but he hasnt written back yet.

Prices are (1) 25pc $32

The more you buy, the more you save type thing.

Just wondering what everyone thought about this? Without knowing the mfr code yet.

Since he works with you, just ask him there. If he can't/won't tell you who makes the media, you're probably better of without it.

I am using goallover POSGo4 good media and print very well.

Gollovers are sold/produced by one gu (ie like Naked Geeks). Newer ones are g04 older ones a some rubbish taiwanese dye. Im assuming that price is USD if so stay away G04's are too inconsistent as of late and at that price its just not worth the gamble.

EDIT: I think they are not g04, goallover just use a similar name for makreting NOT Ritek dyes, definitely stay away.

Apparantly, the manufactuerer for these disks is Prostech. Never heard of them.

I have burned over 50 of these with good results I pay £11 x 25 British pounds.

Made by POSTech. A few people i have spoken to have said they have not had any problems, i have not tried them, yet. Not a bad price at £9 for 25.
