  1. Ok i was using WinSubMux and this guide:

    After following it, the new file didnt seem to have any subtitles, I couldn't get them to run, and I can't get them to play on my dvd player. Perhaps I need a codec of some sort?

    got any ideas?

    The subs won't be displayed if you're trying to play your SVCD file on your computer, because SVCD-Subs are not supported in any computer DVD Player.

    Your standalone DVD player must support SVCD-Subs in order to be visible. Check if your DVD player support SVCD-Subs at https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers
