Who makes these cases and where can I buy more:

I got them with my latest batch of TDK DVD-R's, item: DVD-R74A.

    The liner looks like this:

I ask because these aren't normal jewel cases. As you can see in the top picture, the edges are rounded, and the entire case is clear plastic; they just feel really nice, with the rounded edges, and look good with the crystal clear plastic (I take the liner out when I store a disc).

They do have an ND1A stamped inside, but I can find no reference to that on Google. They also have the DVD logo stamped inside them, as opposed to the CD-RW or whatnot logos.

I'm hoping somebody here has bought some jewel cases in the past, or recently, and they are identical to these. I want more!

I've already e-mailed TDK asking them who makes them, but have received no response as of yet.

Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

You bought the media, or just the cases themselves from Staples? $8 for 10 cases sounds expensive.

I only want the jewel cases since I buy my media (Ritek G04's) by the spindle.

Me thinks that someone is being way too anal retentive.

Take some meds ... or drink ass loads of alcohol.

    It helps either way.

  5. I have a couple, they are older as far as I know, they are specifically DVD cases. My TDK's about a year ago came with them-- made in japan ones. But even when I grabbed some at Staples for $7.94 a 10, they were all normal cheapo CD cases-even the made in japan packs I found.
These cases are nice, but I'm not sure why'd you'd care unless you were releasing your own DVD???? but if you like these check out the SACD cases.

My prefering a specific style of jewel case is being anal retentive to you? How is this different than people who prefer a specific brand of media, or a specific brand of hard drive? I don't think it's me that needs the meds. Besides, I don't recall asking you to think.

Thanks for the tip Lobe. I care because I have a mixture of these clear cases, some thin cases that are orange, and some normal cases that have a black backing. Mix all these together on a media stand and it looks like crap
