  1. Im new to burning dvd's and to this board so if you can help me that would be great. i have a movie that plays at 25fps (PAL) and i read up on converting PAL to NTSC and seems a little to advanced for me, the outcome usually doesnt come out that great.....i have an apex ad-800 and there is a button to choose between PAL and NTSC. what im wondering is if i burn a dvd in PAL format will my dvd player convert it to NTSC so it will be displayed on my tv correctly. i would just go ahead and try but dont like wasting dvd's....thank you

basically means your player can play pal OR ntsc, doesnt convert either way. now if you can actually view the disc in pal mode depends on your tv.

This is information about your DVD player. It supports DVD+/-RW discs - if you don't like wasting DVDs but enjoy messing about, why don't you invest in a few!

That info page also links to a firmware update for your player to make it region free.
