42 still making files that are nowhere to be found. I'm not sure this is a good thing. Seems like v2 is really a beta.

I must say that this version has been an absolute nightmare. Since I started trying to use this last week, every attempt has been met with failure.

I have only managed to successfully transcode one video & the automatic cropping was off. After that, I tried again & I could never find the actual file. Today I updated to the v2.0.2 which is supposed to fix all of this & lo & behold, still no output file. If I select 2 pass encoding, 42 takes a long time, tells me it's done & voila, no file. If I select 1 pass encoding, it encodes a test clip & says it's done - no file.

I wrote Chris Long a week ago & and have yet to receive a reply.

I am unhappy, because previously I had a nice working copy of v1.5.7 which BTW I loved. I spent $10 to have a nonfunctioning copy of v2. I am also unhappy, because their normally excellent customer service is nowhere to be seen.
