  1. Hello all,

After passing through lots of obsticals, somtimes by the help of this forum, reached to the authering stage.
    This is my problem -
I captured from VHS , edited & encoded a standard MPEG2 file using Premier Pro (mpa+m2v).
Tried to use two authoring programs Nerovision and TmpgeDVD.
On both same problem - No audio, the AUDIO_TS is empty.
The original mpa is full and O.K .
    Video size is 2GB .
It does not matter if I burn to disk or creat the DVD on my HD.
Tried to Author a converted Divx to Mpeg2 movie - same problem.

    Can anybody help please ?

    P.

AUDIO_TS should be empty. The audio is in the VOBs that are in the VIDEO_TS folder.

In an attempt to pre-empt the next question, the AUDIO_TS folder is there because it is a part of the DVD standard and some players require the presence of it even though there is nothing in it.

I don't know what its intended use was when they created the standard, though.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I think they were anticipating the DVD-Audio format when they included that in the DVD standard.

  5. if you buy a DVD Audio disc this is where the files are stored. it may even have a VIDEO_TS folder with nothing in it.
