    Anybody here use HD-Burn with their Optorite\Sanyo\etc. drives? Any good deals on compatible media?

    I only use Taiyo Yuden CDs. They are the only ones I've ever gotten to work with HD-Burn AND still read fine a few months later. I get my discs from rima.com.

    Were there any discs that were specified as being compatible by Sanyo (or whoever) and weren't?

    0.28 dollars for Taiyo Yuden CD-R - 1.4 GB
    1.50 dollars for Taiyo Yuden DVD+R - 4.7 GB
    1.50 dollars worth of Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs - 7.5 GB

    I say tis be a good deal laddy especially for backups.
