Everytime I start DVDShrink 3.17 final my explorer.exe shell crashes. Anybody else getting this or know how to fix.

It may have to do with a vast number of things (programs). I had the same problem with TMPGenc a while back. Ended up having to do a "clean" install of Windows XP, then carefully re-installing each program and testing to find out which was in conflict. Turns out an old copy of Norton AV was the culprit, so I upgraded and haven't had problems since.
Your situation may be different, but it sounds like like a software conflict that is neither Windows nor DVDShrink's fault.
BTW, has DVDShrink ever worked on your system?
