Hi all..
I am BRAND NEW to authoring and will be using TMPGEnc DVD Author to create my dvd. I have two questions..
1.) Will this program be able to import Quicktime Movie files and convert them to something viewable on a standard DVD unit? Or is there a seperate program I need in order to do this?
also,
2.) What is the easiest way to make a menu for my dvd? I don't necessarily need moving video for my menu, so should I just use Photoshop or something like that? Thanks for your help everyone!

1. TMpgenc dvd author is an authoring tool only, it can not convert video. So you must use a mov to mpg converter, like tmpgenc with the mov plugin or eo-video, check under our tools list and select mov to tools.
