    There is one @ COMP USA for $150.00 , The model number is MD-16XDVD9-EXT , What DVD writers is this? I heard Mad Dogs are NEC is this a NEC??

    I bought a Mad Dag DVD-RW and its a Toshiba.

    I think that they buy drives as OEM and sell under their name; no issues using it.

    For the love of God, use hub/core labels on your Recordable Discs!

    My Mad Dog MD-4XDVDRW-M is a Toshiba. I haven't burned with it yet, but it reads discs that the NEC 3500 and the LG 4120B won't.

    Ok I went out and got this DVD Writer, it is a NEC ND-3500A, So i guess that is good, I heard allot about his writer being very reliable, Now going to try to burn some stuff, Be back in a few to write a review, Thanks
