  1. Figured that there were plenty of Brits/Aussies/Irish on the board that could point me to a few good Irish/Celt bands...Already got EVERYTHING the Corrs have done, but their new album is still months away and need a little 'fix' until then.

    This stuff is hard to find in California! :P

  4. How about The Hothouse Flowers, Horselips, The Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers, Thin Lizzy, The Adventures, In Tua Nua, Aslan, The Frames ... I could go on!

    For some current Irish rock, try www.phantomfm.com they are a pirate station in Dublin who are currently applying for a licence. They specialise in Irish Rock and Indie music.

    Yeh, I wasn't sure if that's what he was after, even though they are American they have a very Irish sound to them in my opinion.

    It looks like he is after the more traditional celtic bands though.

    Maybe try the girl band Bewitched.
