Here's my situation. I authored a DVD and later after the fact i realized there was a video glitch. Instead of redoing the entire video I am going to split it in 3 pieces and take out a small cross section for editing and repair and then merge it back together. This way I only have to re-encode a few seconds of video, not to mention i don't won't to re-encode the whole thing anyways because it would probably degrade in quality. I think this sounds good in theory, we'll see.
My problem is that I do not have the DVD project for this DVD, it was a while ago when i made it and i didn't save it. What is my best option for extracting the components like the menus and structure so that i don't have to redesign and author it all again?
Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't see the post about no re-authoring questions until after I posted. Well, if it makes a difference, I am reauthoring my own DVD, which is really just phase two of the authoring process.
