I went to see Takeshi's new movie, Zatoichi, the other night and was thoroughly impressed yet bemused by "Beats" latest offering. Some scenes in the film were simply bizzare, whilst on the whole it is an enjoyable, albeit bloody, affair. Has anyone else seen this yet ?

Buddha says that, while he may show you the way, only you can truly save yourself, proving once and for all that he's a lazy, fat bastard. -
Isn't Zatoichi the huge series about the blind guy who wanders feudal Japan getting into trouble? Sort of the Mr. Magoo of Japan? I didn't know they were still making those. I know Mifune had cameos in some of the earlier ones but I've never taken the time to watch them. I'm more interested in the upcoming Criterion release of Stray Dog.
