i am encoding with TMPGE and i am useing the standard template for svcd(ntsf). i make NO changes to it. I am burning with NERO5.5. i cannot get the damn thing to play a SVCD. i have tried everything i know. i want SVCD because i have noticed a quality difference in VCD and SVCD on my PC. when i load the CD into my APEX it runs for about 30 seconds, the SVCD logo appears, then its done. no matter what key i hit i get the message,"INVALID ENTRY". this player is supposed to play them..any help is desperatly needed. i am sick of my quality in VCD and my 500 coasters that i have from running tests on everything........Thanks.....

I had the same problem on my APEX as well. The problem lies within Nero when used for authoring the image which for some reason does not work on the APEX 600. Try using VCDImagerGUI which can be found here:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcdimagergui.htm
Afterwards, burn with CDRWIN. This solved the problem for me.
