Mad dog 8x =/- opinions wanted quick

So compusa has the Mad dog Dominator 6-in-1 Dual 8x Internal IDE DVD+/-R, +/-RW Drive for $79.99 after rebate.

I just built my computer last week its all black except my micro advantage 4x =/- dvd writer, so I was thinking about buying this mad dog drive but there are only thre comments in the writer section

I am looking for opinions about this drive..... is it good ?
I know the 4x mad dog is a good rebagged drive.

I need the answer quickly due the price I am sure it will sell out

It's an NEC 2500. Using Herrie's hacked firmware, this is a great writer. I just picked one up at OM (Ofiice Max) and it's great.

I've got a mad dog dvd drive (not burner) I picked up at christmas time for $20 from om 49.99 -20instatnt rebate -10 mail in rebate works fine for me.
