    I just picked one of these up at CompUSA for $79.99 after rebate.
    Here's the link:

    It shows up as an NEC ND-2500A. I've burned 3 DVD's so far with no
    problem using Verbatim DVD+R 8X media. Each burned in about 9 1/2
    minutes.

    It's a great upgrade from my old NEC 1000A 2.4X burner for a really good price.
