hi

ffmpeg is an amazing app. i noticed that the default res for a dvd, whether its ffmpeg or mpeg2 decoder is 480.
is it possible to encode it at a high res, such as 720 or 1080 and put it on a dvd?

anyone ever done this?

it seems as if the compression with ffmpeg decoder is so good that it would be able to fit such a large size on a 4gB dvd.
