Matrox disables Macrovision

Matrox openly discusses "leaked drivers" for their products that are available on http://www.matroxusers.com, this site is even openly talked about by the actual Matrox employees who moderate their forum.

My question is this, do other companies also do this ? Matrox from what I have read on their forums in no way call this a hush-hush topic and invite people to use the leaked drivers, what about ATI, though, are there leaked drivers for their products also ? or is Matrox the only one doing this sort of thing ?
