  2. joeyjoejnr,

Try AutoGK or, if you're feeling brave, the full-blown Gordian Knot. Excellent programs, AutoGK being easy to use for the new user and Gordian Knot being for the control freak.

    Hope this helps,

    Cobra

EDIT: Just realised that you're in the wrong forum. It's a little misleading, you need to be in this forum next time:

I used AutoGK for a conversion such as yours, and it took a whooping 30+ hours.!!!!!

I had to use it as it ripped subs, sound and video from an awkward disc that no other program was interested in.

It will depend on your system somewhat..

But it is a superb and easy-to-use program..highly recommended... well worth tthe wait!

  7. i noticed that autogk does take a long time....it uses vdubmod and does 2 passes to encode the movie, which each pass takes me a little over 4hrs,

is there any way possible to make this processing go faster? [besides getting a new processor] or to change it to where it does only 1 pass? or is 2 passes needed and i just have to quit crying about how long it takes?

Respectfully, that sums things up quite nicely.
