AIW card & audigy 2 zs

OMG im going freaking crazy trying to get multimedia center 8.9 to work w/ my new audigy card.

iuVCR and others work fine, but MMC doesnt work. i use that only when i wanna do tv on demand stuff, otherwise it wouldnt matter.

it seems like the card has one recording checkbox for the entire set of analog inputs. i run the MMC config utility and when i get to the sound page i select the mixer that i use in the other progs, and it says it cant find it, and it gives me a list of inputs, and i click AUX, cuz im using the internal connector. i gues i could change to LINE IN again, but its convenient the way it is if i could get it to work.

WTF!??! does anyone have both of these cards? its an aiw 9800 pro and the audio is audigy 2 zs.

ps. i CAN hear the audio in MMC, i just cant record it for some reason. any ideas?

I had a similar problem, but I couldn't hear it at all. Check to see that the aux. input is selected and enabled in the Audigy control panel. See image and red circles. I would also check the setting to the right below the REC lable.

here's my pic...doesnt have an aux slider

and the version #'s are dfferent...ur's says a400, mine says 9000..i think thats a revision #...maybe im wrong



you think the easiest hting to do is cut my losses & use the external line in connector? or is there a new firmware update or something? i installed all of creatives updates...and i also read on rage3d that there was a special driver for AIW cards? maybe thats too old tho...
