    can pinnacle studio capture tv to .avi files or just mpeg1 and mpeg2?

    also, is there a big difference between versions 7.0-9.0?

    What do you want to capture from ? But simple answer is... Yes. It can capture in AVI.

    And yes, there is big difference between version 7 and 9 (or 8 ). Other than a lot of goodies, version 8 and 9 can author DVD.
