I updated from win98 to XP pro (format disc) - reinstalled latest drivers from ATi page.
I can't capture video at all. I lost all the codecs. I reinstalled MMC 7.2, but TV program seems not to recognize the country, and I can't continue installation (no channel search).
Latest graphic drivers, and XP hanging continuously ...
Please, help. I'm getting mad...![]()
Please, answers / help to my email...

jafjaf,
Is you AIW card a "PRO" card? Or just a AIW 128? I have the second type, and can only get this driver:
http://mirror.ati.com/support/drivers/winxp/winxpr1286133279.html
to work with XP Home (don't know if it will be the same, but it's a start).
I can also use MMC 7.7 (but no higher versions...), available here:
http://mirror.ati.com/support/drivers/misc/mmc7-7-0-1-nodvd-directx.html
I cannot use the "Control Panel" or any other ATI components that it says will work with this card.
TV display works just fine...capturing works fine, either direct to MPEG2 or compressed AVI (I prefer MPEG2 cause I can just author and burn to DVD without having to encode...)
I don't know if this will work with your system or not-I've been using the same drivers (with only one reinstall of OS) for quite a while.
just a thought
