OK, last night, I made my titles no problem. Today, I am making a second DVD of Seinfeld episodes. Since I named the first disc Seinfeld, now the automatic titles of the episodes is Seinfeld.
So, when I got to change the title, I am only aloud to use as many letters as the default title had (SEINFELD). The decietful guide book says that the maximum you can have is 64, and for some reason, I can only use 8, therefore not being able to put the complete title in there.
Is there a setting I can change or something or did I just get screwed over?

You must be 12 years old. You haven't supplied enough
background information for anyone to even start helping
unless they can read minds.
What are you doing , and with what programs ? -
I don't know how much clearer I can be.
OK...
I have a Pioneer DVR 310-S DVD recorder. After recording a title, you use the menu to go to disc navigation. In navigation, you can do various things, like playback the recently recorded title, add Navigation marks and such and such. You can also change the title. The title is usually something that displays all the information like 3/26 6:18 PM etc... but in this case the title was "SEINFELD." Probably just taken from the disc I was previously using. Anyway, to change the title, you clear the old one, and then start writing the new one. Well, you are allowed 64 letters (or so the guide book says) to make a title. Well, my problem is that I am not even allowed 64 letters, I am only allowed the amount of letters the default name had which is 8 (SEINFELD). I want to change the title but if you try to type a 9th letter, it says that the title will be too long. I want to know how to correct this problem and change the amount of letters aloud. -
In that case, when the cursor postion is on the 9th letter, just press the 'clear' button repeatedly until the cursor position actually moves one letter back. Titling will always allow 64 characters BUT it does hide the fact that spaces previosuly deleted to make room are still in effect there (taking up the space) unless you postion the cursor (in your case on the 9th space) and manually hit clear until they are available to use again. Either that or just press and hold clear until everything is gone and start over again.
