  1. Hello everyone!

I need help here. I think I've seen this question twice before, but with no answers. I find that strange because it's a quite nifty thing. The thing is I'm backing-up LOTR on 2 DVD-r and when the first disc has ended I want:

A screen saying something like "Insert the second disc".

Pleeeeeease somebody help me. I've used IfoEdit a bit and i quess that's the program I have to use or is there any other options?

    Greetings! // The Kvejker...

    (Re-authoring with DVD Shrink)

Here's a place for free custom LOTR "insert disc 2" clips. Look in page 2.

DVDFab 1.70 will let you copy the whole disc to 2 dvd-r's and you can choose a "Insert disc 2" logo. It works very well.

Now I don't use DVDFAB but to my knowledge, it is limited on logo selection. I'd rather use the custom prfoessional ones at www.posunplugged.com.

  5. Thank you guys!

I really appreciate the answers! Fantastic actually! I'll read them tomorrow after my sleep One thing I forgot to mention is that I'm backing-up LOTR Extended Version so DVDFab won't work that well then. But thanks for the answer anyway

  6. Hello again!

Yesterday I tried the two guides:

    1) IfoEDIT and VobEDIT.
    2) DVDShrink.

None of them worked. Probably because I just went through the guides in a flash just before I went to bed. But the thing is I've seen two different "Insert Disc 2-clips". One 10-second-version and one with only 1 frame. I'm using the 1-frame-clip (LOTR), and I guess that's the problem since I don't see anything after the movie. The movie just stop and it's probably so that I just don't recognize that 1-frame-clip since... it's only one frame What's the problem? Is it that I have to extend the time the clip is showed? Loop it? Or is it because I need a 10-second-clip?

One idea I just got is that when I only have the movie without menu. Can't I just add this clip, which is a single vob, as the menu-vob? The menu is automatically looped so there's no need to make any adjustments there. Shouldn't that be the easiest way? I'll try it tonight after work. Any suggestions?

  7. Try DVDRemake - you can split over 3 discs with it and substitute cells from your VOB you downloaded from posunplugged.com. Costs $30 tho.

  8. Thanks for your answers!

I've read the guide at posunplugged now and I've found my solution:

"Cell_1: still time (seconds, 0xFF = Infinite) 0". I simply have to change it to 1-255 so that's probably why I can't get it to work.

What would be really cool is to add a sound to the screen itself. But then you probably need a 10-sec-clip to add it to...

Thanks for your help guys! Really appreciate it!
