Daewoo DVG-3000N or DVG-5000N?

I recently decided to purchase an inexpensive standalone DVD player. I noticed that the Daewoo DVG-3000N was highly thought of by some folks here. I went to Sam's Club to purchase this unit for $99 and noticed that they were also selling the Daewoo DVG-5000N for the same price. Can anyone tell me anything about the DVG-5000N? I can't find it in the list of DVD players on this site. Is it similar to the DVG-3000N? Are there any additional benefits with this model (yeah, I know you get an extra 2000N's)?. Can it play all the same media? Is there a region hack available for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 5000N is very similar to the 3000N, but it adds these features which aren't on the 3000N:

Component output
Optical out
Power button on the remote
A really nice front display (the 3000N's front display is a cheap-looking backlit LCD)
Karaoke microphone jacks (the 3000N has headphone jacks instead)

It should be able to play the same type of media as the 3000N.

As far as a region hack is concerned - it's a bit confusing right now - one person says that there is a "REGION ID" menu but no list of regions to choose from, while another person says that the regions do appear but there is no "BYPASS" option.
