I purposely dug an older spindle (with the old red/blue labelling, instead of the current all blue) out of a HUGE pile of these at my local BB, and as I had hoped, they were RICOHJPNR00. Yeah, they're 2.4x discs, but my experience is the newer RICOHJPN discs are slowly losing quality (I seem to be getting more and more coasters with each spindle I buy, and my burner is fine with other discs..).

I know this isn't incredibly helpful, except if anyone is looking for discs in a similar context (quality over max speed), they ARE still floating around BB.

I recently got some coasters in a 50 pack spindle of RICOHJPN (Memorex branded), but I've ended up burning the ones from that Spindle at 2.4X and the problems stopped. So same difference.

i went through a pack of these a couple months ago, absolutely no coasters. very reliable media, even though it only burns at 2.4x still good stuff. just look what else out the you can buy from the store shelf at $1 a piece. btw, 39.99 - 10 instant - 5 mail in. still a really good deal if your too lazy to mail in for 5 bucks.
