  1. I just got the new digital 8 Sony DCRTRV-265e camcorder and i want to put the footage from it onto my computer for editing. Now i cannot find anywhere within the software provided that will do this. I am connecting it via USB and i can play it back using USB streaming program that comes withit but i want to capture it to avi to playback and edit.

How can i do this? This sounds very noobish but i really can;t find a way.

  2. Im not shure if your camcorder can do this, but the best way to capture the video in the HD is via firewire....

You conect Your Camcorder to PC by firewire (If the computer dosnt have it the port, there are PCI cards for Firewire)
Use WinDV (freeware software, really good) And thats it.....

    best quality of capture...

    good look
