Does anyone know if the dual layer dvd+r,dvd-r s will be compatible with players that currently accept the single layer media?![]()

Most if not all commercial dvds that you purchase rent or borow ARE DUAL layer so there is no problem to be forseen for the dual layer recordable media. Because if your stand alone player and your dvd drive can read and rip them so I can safely say YES you will be able to have total compatability ...

the news of a dual layer dvd burner has been around quite a while now.
dual layer dvd meida should actually be more compatible than existing single layer dvd media.. should being the key word..
