hi, im after some dvdr's that i can rely on, ive been using datawrite 4x yellows and ive been told they are poo.
so, i need some high quality ones but not sure what to have....i usually get my stash from http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/ so it would be nice if i could still get them from there coz they are cheap, but its not mandatory.
im lookin for 25 packs ranging from £10-£20. any ideas peeps.
oh, btw, im using a pioneer dvd-106d (4X)

I'm using the same burner, the same media and the same supplier, and have not had a single problem with them. I have never had a compatibility issue with MANY other standalone players either.
The price is right (£10ish for 25), and as far as I can tell reading forums these discs seem very compatible with many burners/players. If they are working for you, why change?
I would, however suggest staying away from the Datawrite Red discs they sell, as I had lead out/burn errors on 1/4 of a spindle. For the extra £3, I am now back to only using the Yellow Classics. -
i have been having a problem with writing dvd movies, but i dont know if its a media problem or a hardware problem, so i was gonna try using a different media.

Hmm, I've just checked the website, and noticed the special offer on the Yellow Classics. If I remember correctly, the description is different now also. I have no idea if this means a different manufacturing process/dye than previously, but I shall order a spindle anyway to check.
As I said, so far I have had no problems with these discs, so I hope this continues. -
