  1. ive been using svcd for a while, but just got the new version. Since than i have burned several movis and they come out looking like a pal version.The screen jumps around and its in black and white. i did select the ntcs button when making the menu>any suggestions?

    The DVD will be the same TV Standard as the sources. What are you sources?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

  3. ill recheck my sources, but i only get them from 1 place, who usually test them and are very reliable , but i will check ..if you have any othter info , just let me know

  4. i am also having this problem since i updated

    im using it to author a dvd with 3 vcds on it and some of them are pal and its not patching them to ntsc anymore how do i fix this?

    when u select author dvd folder u cant select anything in the horizontal rez patch tab?

    From the FAQ:

    SVCD2DVD doesn't do anything to the video standard. It resamples the audio and optionally manipulates the headers - thats it. Converting between PAL & NTSC (either way) is quite convoluted & can be long winded. If you own expensive software (e.g. Video Vegas) then you may have an easier route but other wise the best guide I've seen on the subject is: http://www.geocities.com/xesdeeni2001/StandardsConversion
