Absolutely the strangest thing I've seen in a while. everyting I was ever taught led me to believe that 0 - 15 were the IRQ numbers and although they are shareable and re-mapable, that's it. Been doing this since the first IBM PC and have never seen a number higher.
Only thing I can think of is that these are really shared or re-mapped and Soyo has the bios customized to "translate" the "new numbers" to existing 0 - 15 IRQs. -
I fixed it.
I had MPS 1.4 enabled in the bios, which is suposed to be better for SMP systems, especially Windows 2000. Changed it to 1.1 and all is normal.
I can't believe the system even booted with an IRQ table like that. 2KPro should of freaked when it tried to process it, but its ran just fine for past 8 or so months.
