Let's say I own an Internet outlet with 1 server and 10 workstations. Most of the time, my customers comes in and spend their time and money on IRC, Instant Messaging, Downloads, MMORPG and stuffs like that. What I plan to do is since I've got tons of ripped DVD titles in DiVX format, is it possible to broadcast (actually I don't really know what to call it) to the 10 workstations simutaneously? Means, instead of sharing the AVI files over the network and a customer plays it from there, why not just broadcast or video stream over my LAN... Kinda like the movie premieres like "Now Showing" blah blah blah. It doesn't matter whether my customers are watching the movie at all cause this service is free and they could just sit and relax while waiting for important e-mails, huge downloads and etc.
Any tools of trade that I require are in DVDRHelp? I hope this is not an "Off Topic" topic cause there might probably be a video conversion here.

I hope you have the legal rights to these "movies for web broadcast" as it sounds like lawsuit time if you don't...

I have to agree. It would only take one person to report this activity for you to find yourself involved in a very precarious legal situation with none other than the MPAA. A fine idea, but not worth the risk in my opinion.

Yeah, easily. Just setup Windows Media Encoder which allows up to 10 or 15 or something simultaneous connections and send them the link(s). You could also just give them the link to the file on your server/web server.
