    Tried searching the forums but not much luck. Looking for any info that someone may have in regards to 4x -R media burning at 8x. Will be using the Nec burner to do the burns. I know Ritek has some +R media that will do this but since I don't do much -R burns looking for some guidance.

    AFAIK only Taiyo Yuden TY01 4x DVD-R and MCC (not sure of code) DVD-R (both 4x) will burn at 8x on the NEC ND-2500A.

    I have the other famed japanese Maxell media (MXL RG02) which will only burn at 4x until now.

    I have 4x tdk-r's that came with mt tdk 880's. They burn at 8x but I can't find them in any stores or even on the tdk website.
