  1. Got the CompUSA ad in the newspaper this morning. They have a 20 pack of DVD-R for $10. The picture in the ad shows that it is a CompUSA brand of DVD-R's. Does anyone know who makes the DVD-R's for CompUSA?

  2. All the different CompUSA DVD-Rs I've bought so far from them have been Princo. I haven't had any problems with them personally (but that's just me) .

Some of the older ones in slim cases were LeadData etc. But the 15 and 20 pack of just discs I've gotten are all Princo.

And despite some people's experience with variable quality, they've proven perfect in my A05 so far, I am checking all the burns etc. Most of my data isn't that critical though anyway, so wouldn't kill me if a disc went bad. And I'm burning at 2X with the hacked firmware.

Still, haven't been using much for video, the one or two have been perfect. Have 6 or more heli flying tapes to convert though, so I'll report back soon with a bigger sample size.
