What model Philips is closed to Magnavox 630?

Had a Philips DVDR985A, and finally gave up on it. Got a Magnavox MDC630R1/17 and since Philips owns Magnavox which Philips desktop unit is closed to the Magnavox. Thanks.

The design of the unit looks remarkably similar (almost identical, actually) to the Philips DVDR880 which was produced for the European market. Check out the picture at:

Tag's right. It's the US version of the Philips 880.
