    Why does in take twice as long (in both DVD2One and DVDShrink) to squeeze a "home made" movie with menus (5 gig to 4.7) than it does a commercial DVD (say 6 gig to 4.7)? Thanks.

    is your home made dvd on the hard drive? if so, the hard drive shrinking is probably slower than dvd disc shrinking

    That's funny, I would have thought access times were quicker off HD than DVD Drives...Thats why programs run faster off HDs...copying files to different spots on your HD is quicker than from DVD-ROM to HD.......
