  1. Is there any application with great Realtime perfomance without having to buy a third party hardware ?

    - Premiere suc#ks.
    - VegasVideo is really great, but ...... mmmm.. i don't know.
    - Final cut Pro, i haven't tried yet.
    - After Effects... is the worst of the worst.
    - Avid Express... i dont have it.
    - Pinnacle Liquid Edition 5.5 - Amazing realtime perfomance, but the program interface is the worst thing i've ever seen in my entire life.

why drop a nuke on the twins towers, if you can easily drop it at pinnacle's company ?

  2. to complex maybe. Why not change the question to :

    - Wich realtime performance do you prefer to deal with, and why ?

(assuming you don't have any extra hardware acceleration for realtime DV editing)

Vegas wins this contest hands down ..

avid dv pro isnt real time unless you also buy the "mojo"

FCP has limted layers -- but does a pretty good job, but real time for FCP really needs a robust system ..

  5. Yeah, i love Vegas interface.

I also use vegas video for audio editing most of time. Crossfades and transitions are so easy to handle.
I still can't beleive why other editing programs are so complicated with that fact.

Unfortunely, most of the plug-ins out there, are for premiere and after effects. What a shame.
