TMPGEnc DVD Author question

I have encoded an avi (Divx4) to a mpa, a m2v and a mpg file with Cuesoft AVI to VCD DVD SVCD 4.02. Upon importing the m2v or the mpg file into TMPGEnc DVD Author the conversion proceeds in ca 20 minutes but the audio is out of sync. Any suggestions?

open the audio and video seperately in a player and make sure the length is the same. also you can open the AVI in Virtual Dub and it will give a warning if the audio is in VBR instead of CBR. that'll throw it out of sync as well. if thats the case you need to extract it to WAV and recompress to a CBR format.
