  1. I have NEC ND-1300A which cannot burn authored dvd video files on any dvd-r that I tried, it works o.k if I burned it as 'data' files. +R/+rw works fine, any ideas? thanks. firmware is 1.08

    dvd-video is burnt as data(iso/udf).

    what burning tool are you using?

  3. I use Nero, what I mean by 'data' is to burn video (dvd compliant or not)
    or any file type for that matter in nero 'make data disc' option, sort of files backup options. Anyway the error is unable to create lead-in, it happen at startup of burning process.

    Aside from creating the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders, what is the difference between DVD-Video and DVD-ROM? UDF or ISO?
    BTW I have no idea why it would burn one and not the other. Probably not copy protection ....
