    I've been playing Worms 3d, and well, it sucked, which is bad considering how good Worms World Party was. What I'm looking for is opinions: what video games were good in 2d but became utter crap in 3d?

    Reading the title I was thinking about adding Worms 3D, but it looks like you've done it for me

    Contra - The older versions were better
    Tetris - Games such as Tetrisphere just weren't as good
    Earthworm Jim - As much as I love Earthworm Jim 3D, the 2D versions were better

    The Mario Games, The Sonic Games, Metroid. (no matter how fun the new metroid is its just not metroid)

    Actually old games going bad in 3d is why I bought my GBA SP. No issues there.

    Spy Hunter. Haven't played 2 yet but the first one sucked ass.

    Street Fighter 2. The 3-d versions looked a lot more fun then they played.

    Pac-Man. Frogger. Prince of Persia (supposedly the latest one "Sands of Time" is OK, but the first PoP-3D sucked).
