Hello Experts..
Let me just say that I do have some experiance converting and encoding avi to dvd, vcd but to go from dvd to avi is causing me some big problems so I want to start from scratch help me and please assume that I have ripped the dvd and its on my hard drive in the VIDEO_TS folder. Just so you know I have read most of the guides and tried various software and well I'm not pleased with the results. The ultimate goal here is for me to get the movie on 2 (700mb) Cdr's and Keep the ac3 audio.
I'd really like to keep the quality as good as I can without going overboard....
I have tried DvdX while it gives me a good 1 cd Xvid or DivX avi it uses only Mp3 audio which sucks. When I try higher bitrates this program gives me 4 or 5 avi Please help....
