Can anyone post DVDShrink 3.1.7 Beta 5 for download, the DVDShrink site won't let me download it no matter what I tried.

    Thank you!

Go to the http://www.dvdshrink.org/ and choose your language.
After that go to Where? button and choose what to download.
You are right - it's not the user friendliest site.

    mrbass,

That never occurred to me. I would suppose if you shrunk to under 4 gigs, it would be alright?

Some of my movie DVDs are already under 4 gigs in ripped format, vobs, etc.

    Cheers,

    George

Does Beta 5 allow me to seamlessly use dvddecrypter to burn a dvd?
Currently I can use 3.1.6 to rip/shrink/burn - I set it and forget it (nero 5.5 is called to do the burning, although you would never know it!). I pop a blank dvd into the burner, set 3.1.6 on it's way and walk out of the room.
When I return in 60 to 90 mins. I have a dvd ready to play in my standalone dvd player. I presume with 3.1.7 I can do the the same thing but dvddecrypter does the burning from the .iso image created and it takes a lot less space as an .iso image is created directly. Is this how 3.1.7 works?

DVD Shrink starts up DVd Decrypter and loads the .ISO file. I believe you still have to clink on the burn button. I didn't have a blank in my burner when I played with it today. Maybe if a blank is in the drive it may start burning automatically. I guess that would be the next logical step for DVD shrink to go..... include burning software.

    Things keep getting better!!!

  8. Okay so I've downloaded the latest DVD shrink and nowhere in it do I see an option for ISO creation or Burning with DVD decrypter. Am I missing something?
Look, let me explain something. I'm not Mr. Lebowski; you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or Duder. His Dudeness. Or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing--

I'm using FAT32 and can create and burn ISO images. DVD Decrypter will automatically perfom the split at 4GB's and Img Tool creates 1GB ISO files to burn under fat32.

If you have a blank in, it starts up and burns automatically.
