  1. Can anybody help me? this is drivig me nuts. I'm using TMPGenc wizard to encode my movie from avi to dvd- The problem I get is at the last stage of the wizard it shows you a blue bar at the bottom of the screen indicating how much space it'll take up on the dvd in mb - the movies i have tried to encode have all come out at over 4070mb the wizard then warns me that the file's too big - i've tried encoding anyway only to find the end of the movies's missing, if i decrease the cbr so it's below 4070mb the movie comes out perfect until the last 15mins or so when it starts to freeze n stutter - really annoying when u get into a movie n the ends all screwed up :

I'd be really grateful of any help

  2. One common cause for movie end stutter is the disk media itself. Try using a different/better brsnd. Look to the left for info in DVD Media.

  4. Well, that sort of clears your burner or burning software, too.

Wouild next try to check your source movie file that you used to encode thru TMPGEnc.. if same was downloaded from inet, then you can well hve a corrupted file.
I don't do same, so don't have much experience with troubleshooting such.
    Perhaps someone else can help...

  5. If i encode the movie without lowering the bitrate TMPgenc cuts off the end. so what i've done to see the end is change the source range to the last 20mins or so of the movie - encode just this bit n put it on dvd n its all ok?
