I downloaded a buch of Seinfeld AVI's (about 175MB each) and then I converted them into MPEGS via TMPEGnc. They are now about 285MB each. When I go into Ulead Workshop and add 6 episodes it says it's about 9 GB when the total file size of the MPEGS is like 1.7GB?
Any ideas?

Did you check the DO NOT CONVERT COMPLIANT FILES check box in Ulead DVD Workshop 2.0?
Did you adjust your project settings to match the properties of your source clips?
