    When I try to put new firmware in my Pioneer DVR 106D, it says: Available target was not found. Even when I use the check programm to found out the existing firmware, it can't reach the Burner and says:
    No DVD-rw drive was found.

    Please Help

    Doesn't matter, I tried to put official firmware in it, but I can't even check the existing firmware with the check tool; chkrw.exe

    It seems I may not even touch the burner with anything.

    have you ever tried a hacked firmware over it?
    that can be a good reason.
