    I want to make an SVCD for my friend. I have a 1.4 gig dvd2onex movie only file. is there a program thatt can do a passthrough video, but resize it so its 480x480? i want it to look DVD quality, but wih the selectable subs and such.

    im about 99.99% certain that is (nor will ever be) possible... although why bother while SVCD may be constrained by 480x480 XSVCD can be 720x480 no problem.
    As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
    drawn outside the lines of reason.
